Coronavirus and Exam Updates
If your child is struggling emotionally during this unprecedented event, please see the Help and Advice link for support and advice.
Hawkswood Therapeutic School remains open for a limited number of pupils who fall into the categories outlined by the government and DFE. Advice to schools is that:
'Children who have one parent as a key worker should remain at home. Their other parent should look after them.'
The increasingly insistent message from the Government that, “If it is at all possible for children to be at home, then they should be.”
With the latest lockdown procedures accompanied by an increasing insistence on social distancing in all settings, we are asking that you only send your child to school if it is absolutely necessary and because there was no other safe alternative.
We will continue to remain open and keep you updated in our dedicated "Coronavirus" tab on the website. Please encourage your child to log onto Apricot online lessons and complete the home learning packs which have been delivered to your homes. If any child has to self-isolate please ensure you call and let the school know.
